Morris will participate in the company’s government-focused IT and computer sales growth
SAN BRUNO, CA, MAY 14, 2007 — Technical Communities, Inc, the premier one-stop service solution for technical organizations that sell to U.S. government agencies, military organizations, and prime federal contractors, announced that Stephney Morris will join the company as a Manager of Business Development in the National Capital Region. Technical Communities is owner and operator of GSAMart, TestMart, NAVICPMart and EurekaSpot.
Morris, based in the Washington, DC-area, comes to Technical Communities from FedTek, Inc of Woodridge, Virginia, where she was Business Development Manager and Territory Sales. As Manager of Business Development, Morris will assume responsibility for a strategic approach to the company’s continued business expansion of GSA schedule management, government sales and targeted marketing of IT products and services. She is directly responsible for partnership agreements between Technical Communities and companies interested in selling to the government.

At FedTek, Morris was responsible for revenue growth in strategic accounts including the DoE Research Labs, Langley AFB, Portsmouth Navy Medical, Norfolk Navy Shipyard, State Dept., World Bank and Fannie Mae. She built and leveraged relationships with manufacturers that compliment FedTek’s storage solution offerings including Network Appliance and Sun/Storagetek.
