Partnership helps government users, military personnel, and federal contractors save taxpayer money when buying test equipment
IRVINE, CA and SAN BRUNO, CA, — March 22, 2006 — TestMart, the leading marketplace operator and service provider for the test and measurement industry announced today an exclusive agreement with VXI Technology, designer and manufacturer of high-density modular test instruments and switching systems for both electrical and mechanical test applications. The deal provides the U.S. government and federal contractor marketplace with special savings on a select VXI Technology VXIBus, VMIP™, SMIP ™, VME ™, and the new Ethernet-based LXI products.
TestMart is authorized to offer all components of the VXI Technology functional test and data acquisition suite including chassis, controller and instrumentation . The products are based on open-industry standards and are modular, portable and compact in nature. The U.S. Government uses card-based instrumentation to stimulate communications systems, simulate eavesdropping communications systems, detect roadside bombs and Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) and perform a variety of other test, measurement, and data analysis tasks. LXI products are used to build instrumentation arrays on networks that are completely controlled by the network. The equipment is available to all who qualify under a set of General Services Administration (GSA) Multiple Award Schedules (MAS).

VXI Technology products are under General Services Administration (GSA) Multiple Award Schedules (MAS) managed by TestMart, who will provide content, transaction, marketing, sales support and reporting services around them. TestMart also will provide presentation and order processing though the GSA’s e-commerce web site, www.gsaadvantage.gov and the company’s own online marketplace www.usa.testmart.com.
