Partnership helps government users, military personnel, and federal contractors save taxpayer money when buying technical equipment
SAN BRUNO, CA and COLUMBIA, MD, June 17, 2008 — ITT Intelligence and Information Warfare’s EVI Technology Business Area (NYSE: ITT), announced today a new exclusive government services partnership agreement with Technical Communities, a leading service provider for technical organizations that sell to U.S. government agencies, military organizations, and prime federal contractors.
The agreement authorizes Technical Communities to distribute EVI products, including the Cell Phone Detection and Location System. The system detects and locates cell phones located within or near a facility. When a cell phone is used for voice or data communications, the system determines the phone’s location and shows it on a computer display of the facility floor plan. EVI Technology looks forward to providing Federal Government customers with a straightforward method of purchasing the product using Technical Communities’ GSA schedule.
