Technical Communities and NeoTract Sign Government Services Partnership

Offering government users urological devices through the VA Federal Supply Schedule

SAN BRUNO, CA , APRIL 9, 2014 — Technical Communities, Inc., the company that technical organizations rely on for proven government contracting, marketing, and sales solutions, today announced a new government services partnership agreement with NeoTract, Inc., specializing in medical devices and solutions in urology.

The agreement authorizes Technical Communities to distribute NeoTract’s UroLift® System, which is a minimally invasive device designed to open the urethra directly with no cutting, heating, tissue ablation or removal of prostate tissue. It is used to treat lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTS) due to Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH), which affects over 500 million aging men worldwide. The UroLift® System was FDA approved in 2013.

NeoTract products are offered under General Services Administration (GSA) Schedule Contract V797-4410B, under the Department of Veterans Affairs Federal Supply Schedule (VA FSS) 65IIA, managed by Technical Communities. Technical Communities will provide NeoTract with sales support, demand generation, marketing and reporting services. NeoTract products are available through Technical Communities’ online marketplaces www.gsamart.com and www.testmart.com, as well as through the GSA’s e-commerce web site www.gsaadvantage.gov.
