Technical Communities Names Charles Ieni As Vice President of Business Development

Mr. Ieni will participate in the company’s continued expansion of GSA distribution of Laboratory, Life Sciences and Medical products and services

SAN BRUNO, CA and HERNDON, VA, OCTOBER 12, 2010 —- Technical Communities, the company technical organizations who sell to the government rely on for proven go-to-market solutions to grow sales, lower costs and reduce risks, announced that Charles Ieni has joined the company as Vice President of Business Development.

Based in Technical Communities’ Washington, D.C. regional office in Herndon, VA, Charles Ieni is responsible for strategic approach to the company’s business expansion of GSA distribution of Laboratory, Life Sciences and Medical products and services. He is directly responsible for the establishment of agreements between Technical Communities and manufacturers as well as ongoing sales strategy.

At Cambridge, he led the strategic business unit for the company’s major lines of business that focus on selling to the federal market. Prior to Cambridge, Mr. Ieni held Vice President and Director level positions with Sun Microsystems, Inc. CDS, Epson America Inc., and Irwin Magnetic Systems, Inc.
