Technical Communities Names Linda Rodden as Associate Consultant

Rodden will bring extensive experience and unique insights with Federal government procurement

SAN BRUNO, CA and HERNDON, VA, October 14, 2008 — Technical Communities, leading service provider for technical organizations that sell to U.S. government agencies, military organizations, and prime federal contractors, announced today Linda Rodden will join the company as Associate Consultant.

Rodden will be available to help partners and customers navigate through the intricacies of the GSA schedule program and Federal procurement systems. She will bring her extensive experience working with Fortune 1000 technology companies and high-level government officials, specifically involved with the selection and procurement of technology products and services in GSA programs to assist partners with their government selling and contract strategies.

Linda Rodden is a recognized expert in Federal Procurement policy issues, participating in several industry associations and government advisory boards including being on the Board of Advisors, Coalition for Government Procurement and representing members of the Information Technology Association of America. Rodden also has a proven track record in negotiating and optimizing GSA and Federal contract operations as Director Public Contracts and Proposals for Dell, the largest GSA contract holder in the Federal Supply Schedule program. Prior to joining Dell she was Vice President of GSA Contracting for Federal Sources Inc. and a consultant for over 15 years, specializing in GSA Schedules. Rodden began her career as a Contracting Officer in the Federal Government at GSA and the Department of Energy. Currently she is also an instructor at ESI International for Federal contracting courses including Federal Contracting Basics, Operating Practices in Contract Administration, IT contracting, and GWACS, IDIQ Contracts and Schedules. Rodden also holds memberships in the National Contract Management Association and International Association for Contract and Commercial Management.
