SAN BRUNO, CA, SEPTEMBER 21, 2010 —- Technical Communities, Inc., the company technical organizations who sell to the government rely on for proven go-to-market solutions to grow sales, lower costs and reduce risks, today announced it has been awarded a five-year Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) from United States Army Contracting Command at Picatinny Arsenal, NJ. Technical Communities is the operator of TestMart, the leading source for technical equipment to the government and military.
The BPA award is part of the program to upgrade to the sensor suite of the M93A1 Fox Nuclear, Biological and Chemical (NBC) sensor vehicles. The modernized suite will make the vehicle more mission capable and replace obsolete electronics which are difficult to maintain due to the lack of a production base for the old components.
The agreement authorizes Technical Communities to provide power supplies, oscilloscope, spectrum analyzers, time signal generators, calibration equipment and other test equipment of both commercial off the shelf and commercial items with minor modifications under Federal Supply Code 6625. Procuring Contracting Officers (PCO) located at Picatinny Arsenal, NJ and Benet Laboratories at Watervliet NY are authorized to place individual call orders against this agreement. In addition authorized Government Purchase Card (GPC) Holders located at Picatinny Arsenal, NJ, Benet Laboratories at Watervliet, NY, Adelphi Proving Ground, Adelphi MD, and Rock Island Arsenal, Illinois are authorized to place GPC orders against this agreement.
